Denture Relines & REBASES

Relines & Rebases

Every couple of years, dentures might feel a little loose as the mouth changes and the bone resorbs. This would indicate the need of a rebase to refit the existing denture to your gums.

Denture relines involve replacing the inner lining of the denture while rebases refer to completely removing and re-making the base of the denture, but not the denture teeth. Both of these services can help you achieve a better fit that’s comfortable and secure.

As a general rule, it is recommended to reline/rebase your dentures every couple of years. Some signs it’s might be time for denture relining or rebasing include:

  • Your dentures feeling loose or constantly slipping out
  • Difficulty eating with your dentures
  • Gums that are sore and irritated from ill-fitting dentures

All our relines and rebases are processed with the same BPS Ivocap injection system than our new dentures.

So, if any of these sound familiar, it’s time to book an appointment with our experienced Denturist. We’ll work with you to get your dentures fitting comfortably and securely once again!
